In 2001 the Directors of Bradford based Princes Soft Drinks Group approached Virtual College to help them automate their induction process. Working closely with their HR manager, Virtual College took their existing induction materials, company information and history along with Health & Safety information, policies and procedures, and with the use of sound animations, business case scenarios, games and challenges automated their induction process. Each new employee undertakes an hours' initial induction using the computers in their training rooms. Employees see where the company has come from, hear a motivational welcome from the MD and see how their division of the company sits within the wider Group. Legal issues such as Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities are covered before the employee even sets foot on the shop floor.
