We’ll be attending the 2011 Association of Colleges AOC Conference.
November the annual AOC conference will be coming to Birmingham International Convention centre for three days of presentations and discussions about the future of education. This comes at an important time for colleges across the country, and with recent changes in government and the spending review, many of them will be looking for ways to streamline techniques and save costs. E-learning could offer a major advantage to colleges looking to reduce costs and increase the take up of apprenticeships with Virtual College being the UK's leading e-learning provider.
Being able to network, debate and discuss with other likeminded professionals in a relaxed contained environment is vital for development, and with a chance for companies new and old to show what they have on offer to an attentive audience, the opportunities for positive change in the education sector is endless.
Of course, people don't want to hear flat sales pitches all day, they can do that back in the office, but with over 15 keynote speakers and 80+ exhibitors sharing a wealth of opinion and knowledge there's no danger of boredom.
So what will Virtual College be bringing with them?
As well as our pioneering brand of e-learning, the E>nable Learning Management System (LMS) has delivered improved efficiency to a number of clients in their training delivery. We'll be on hand to talk about the details and benefits a well implemented system brings. We'll also be joined by our Apprenticeships e-Academy (AeA) team, who will be on hand to talk about the way they are revolutionising apprenticeship delivery for colleges.
Liam Prendergast, business development manager at AeA who will be available to meet you at the conference, says "Using our expertise in the latest learning delivery technologies, we offer a flexible and engaging approach. Colleges can dramatically reduce the costs of delivery whilst improving efficiency, quality and enhancing innovation".
With increases in tuition fees and rapidly rising unemployment, our country expects to see the number of apprenticeships rise considerably as this is a fantastic way to get into a supportive work role, and a great way for companies to expand their workforce in the current climate. Colleges are often the starting point for people looking to enter into an apprenticeship, and by teaming up with e-learning providers many are tapping into a new revenue stream with excellent results.
So come and say hello at stand F12b and take advantage of over 15 years' experience in e-learning, with videos from real learners and demonstrations showing exactly what we can offer your college.
