There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
There was a range of learning techniques used to prevent the learner just reading through the information.
Very well categorized, full of information and key relevance and very interesting! Learnt an awful lot from this module
it had visual cues and interactive portions which I respond well to
It was laid out well and easy for me who is not that great on computers to follow!
Completing the module in my own time was very beneficial, being able to finish one module quitting and then going back later.
l liked everything, the choice of having audio sound helped me and the visuals were easy to understand, l enjoyed doing the questions after each module. l believe this course should be available for friends and family of anyone who has a child with Autism to help give them a better understanding of the diagnosis. l struggle to explain to some people why my son behaves in such a way, and they look upon him as just been a naughty child or awkward. If they did this course they would understand l am not just making excuses for his behaviour.
I have tried other learning providers online on a different subject and found their content very boring and struggled to get through a module, I ended up not bothering with it. This however, was much better, it was visually stimulating, easy to read, and easy to understand.
I liked how the whole thing was presented and the fact that you could leave it and return to it later as this made it easier to fit around daily life.
The visual aspects of the course made it more interactive and engaging, rather than it all being text to read. The quizzes at the end of each module were good as you could gage which areas needed improvement.
I liked the detailed descriptions under each heading such as clicking on the options for oversensitive/under sensitive sections. How each one varies, very easy to understand and read.
