Entering the recruitment process without a clear view of the process, and how it should be structured, will result in poor use of resources, and probably ineffective recruitment. This course provides an overview of what constitutes an effective recruitment process, and enables you to use this as a template when planning future activity.

For any organisation or company its people are its lifeblood; finding and hiring the right people, however, is a major challenge, given the competition for staff with the right skills, knowledge and attitude. For this reason it is vital that any person with a responsibility for, or a role within, staff recruitment is highly competent to perform that function. Failure to ensure this competence will result in an inability to attract the right people, and/or failure to identify those people at the time of recruitment.

The course is divided into 3 sections covering the following areas:

• preparing for recruitment
• factors affecting the approach to recruitment
• the 4 factors of the recruitment process

Certification

On completion of this course you will be able to download a Virtual College certificate.

Duration

Approximately 40 mins. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like, and there is no limit on how long you can take to do the course.
