This course focuses on the importance of practitioners working on self-evaluation within their own early years settings. It considers how self-evaluation should be come embedded in practice and how this is closely linked to the development and maintenance of quality, which is in turn related to the inspection process.

Having completed this course the learner will have developed a greater appreciation of the benefits of self-evaluation, why it can be an effective process and how they can use this within their own working environment.
