The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, Technical, to join our journey and to play a key part in the successful delivery of all technical projects in Virtual College. Reporting to the CTO, this role requires strong project management and technical experience, working previously in an agile environment. You will be responsible for the management of high-risk projects to completion and for building strong working relationships across the business. This role is based in Ilkley and you would earn a competitive salary.

Key Duties:

  • Owning and developing plans with clear and achievable timescales and identifiable costs
  • Building strong working relationships with both technical and business teams and be a positive leader who can communicate well and listens to the team and customers and adaptable to making changes if needed.
  • Giving and taking clear direction and looking to add value wherever possible using key skills and experiences
  • Ensuring all projects are delivered within the agreed project constraints and agreed budget
  • Ensuring all projects are managed in line with Virtual College policies and procedures and indeed contribute to the design of these.
  • Responsible for the overall success and continuous development of the project team along with individuals within the project team and mentor where applicable
  • Responsible for the project team’s overall contribution to Virtual Colleges operational, technical and business objectives
