Data Protection at Work
An Introduction to Cyber Security online training course
Data Protection at Work

It is important to ensure you protect your business against cyber criminals and keep your business information and data safe. It is also crucial to ensure that your employees understand the nature of personal data and what they can do to protect data they handle or have access to.

This training bundle is made up of two business courses, Cyber Security Awareness and Data Protection at Work. This bundle is aimed at anyone who works in a small to medium sized business who want to increase their knowledge on online security and daily data protection issues and how these issues can affect your everyday actions.

  • Bundle of two courses
  • Online, self-paced training
  • Interactive courses with colourful animations
  • 24 hour learner support
  • Complete in 2-4 hours
  • Instant digital certificates on completion

With both cyber security and data protection becoming an increasingly bigger issue in organisations, this online training bundle is an introductory course to Data Protection at Work and Cyber Security Awareness. This bundle is designed to help learners understand online security and begin to protect personal data within their work.

Upon completion of this course, learners will have an understanding of how to create perfect passwords, virus vigilance and how to stay safe from digital threats, the importance of keeping a clear desk and screen for data protection and how fraudsters can trick you into giving out your username or passwords in a virtual net. Learners who have access to sensitive data and personal information at work will become aware of the importance of data protection and the impact of data handling in their line of work.

Learners will also be able to understand how data protection matters are enforced and what is done when data breaches occur. They will be able to identify issues and foresee potential problems effectively in their own workplaces and will also be able to recognise how they can take steps to protect their premises and how they can store and dispose of personal information to prevent against identity theft. Learners will also understand what we mean by key terms such as ‘SPAM’, the dangers of using CC in emailing, how to print securely and how to browse the internet safely.
