What is Yorkshire Productivity?

Yorkshire Productivity is operating division of Virtual College, it is aimed at organisations of any size who want to improve productivity and eliminate waste - often known as 'lean'.

Although these activities are normally associated with manufacturing and production environments, lean principles are being applied increasingly to office activities where the opportunities for improvements in efficiency are equally important and valuable.

For this reason, Yorkshire Productivity has developed 'Lean Office' - a range of services aimed at office and administration environments.

To help achieve these aims and make a real difference to your business, we provide a full package of practical support services:

  • from diagnosis and identification of areas of potential improvement
  • through training
  • and implementation

In addition, those customers who elect to become Yorkshire Productivity members receive real benefit from activities which allow them to network and share best practice with colleagues experiencing similar challenges.

Working with over 120 customers across a wide range of sectors, Yorkshire Productivity has delivered over 20,000 courses in total.

We have a vast and up to date knowledge of current funding opportunities which we access wherever possible for your benefit.

Yorkshire Productivity is registered as an approved deliverer with the Manufacturing Advisory Service (Yorkshire & Humber).

Yorkshire Productivity gained the coveted Matrix standard in December 2007. The matrix Standard is the national quality standard for organisations that delivers information, advice and/or guidance on learning and work
