Leading e-learning software maker announces new development
One of the leading software developers for e-learning programmes has launched a new version of its flagship course creation tool.
Vikas Joshi, chairman and managing director of the Harbinger group, said: "The emergence of new rich media, faster [internet] connections, near-ubiquity of laptops, devices and internet connections has added a new meaning to interactivity in online learning."
The news comes as more and more UK schools adopt technology in the fields of online learning and e-learning courses.
One school in Dartford, Kent, recently announced plans to introduce iPads as part of its teaching supplies, while the increasing prevalence of e-learning as a credible tool for empowering and engaging young learners was highlighted in the final of business reality show The Apprentice recently.
Longfield Academy of Arts and Sciences' management underscored this in a recent newsletter announcement, saying "young people enjoy learning through technology which enhances motivation".
