Virtual College recognised as a Yorkshire Growth 100 company.

With colleges and businesses alike constantly having to comply with new legislation while cutting costs, it's no wonder that e-learning has had such an impact across the country.

Rapidly growing in popularity as an effective way of tracking staff and student progress, Learning Management Systems are available in many packages, but it’s the cutting edge technology in our E>nable platform, combined with engaging courses, that has allowed Virtual College to be shortlisted for the Rising Stars category in the 2011 Yorkshire Growth 100 awards. Yorkshire Growth represents a consistent increased turnover for the company over the last five years, and from these companies a select few (18) are chosen as Rising Stars so we're very happy with this achievement.

Yesterday our CEO Rod Knox was joined by Lesley Ord (Operations Director) Peter Hilliard (Marketing Manager) and Bob Gomersall (Chairman) and other specially invited guests for a presentation dinner, held at Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, Leeds. Competing in the category against Simcyp and The Real Yorkshire Pudding Company, tensions were high as the winner was announced.

Unfortunately we didn’t walk away with the prize but we're proud in the knowledge that our modules and products are making a difference to businesses across the country. We welcomed our 70th staff member recently and with more than 15 years' experience under our belts you can be sure you're in safe hands when you choose Virtual College as your e-learning provider.
