Ghanaian educational facilities are celebrating after getting access to e-learning.

According to Modern Ghana, a huge online training course institution has been opened in the region, offering opportunities to 2,000 students of 29 different schools.

The e-learning resource centre, set up in Kukurantumi, has ten computers with access to the world wide web and plenty of multimedia software for pupils to take advantage of.

It was funded by the member of parliament for Abuakwa North, Professor Samuel Amoako, who told the publication that the new facility will "help our children to enhance their intellectual learning ability, as well as keep them abreast of innovative ways of learning".

The news comes after industry expert Jean Gross highlighted the importance of such schooling.
