Virtual College leads formative assessment dialogue at the Learning Technologies exhibition

Virtual College, recently judged independently to be ‘the Learning Technologies supplier of the year’ for the second year running, will be opening up dialogue about formative assessment at Learning Technologies 2017.

Delegates are encouraged to attend the free seminar session led by Virtual College and supported by CIPD training experts, DPG:

Seminar title: ‘Using tech enabled formative assessments to improve your learning programmes.’

Venue: Learning Technologies Seminar Theatre 2, London Olympia

Date: Wednesday, February 1, 2017

Time: 12.30-13.00

The seminar will discuss:

  • Should formative assessment be about more than ensuring learners are ‘test ready’?
  • How can technology support us to understand knowledge, skills and behaviour adoption?
  • How can technology-enabled formative assessments be used as an engagement tool?
  • How much can formative assessment results impact the learning journey for an online learner?
  • Has an over reliance on multiple choice given online formative assessments a bad name?

Virtual College will also be on stand E10 at the Learning Technologies exhibition showcasing its bespoke online learning capabilities, its 300 ‘off the shelf’ e-learning courses and Enable, Virtual College’s cloud-based learning management system.

The Learning Technologies exhibition will be held in London’s Olympia on 1st and 2nd February 2017.
