Digital Marketer Standard Level 3 – City and Guilds
Looking to take a digital marketing apprenticeship? This Level 3 apprenticeship will prepare students for a career in digital marketing, providing the technical competencies, knowledge and understanding to be an effective digital marketer.
What a digital marketer does
The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention.
To achieve this, a digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work to marketing briefs and instructions.
A digital marketer will normally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager or an IT manager.

How the apprenticeship works
You will take part in a range of training and development activities. These will include Online Live classroom-based learning, with teaching supported by group and individual exercises and lab activities. You will also undertake training for an industry-recognised vendor certification, with an exam to achieve this qualification.
Learning will be supported by an assessor/tutor who will work with you throughout their apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will be achieved once end point assessment has been completed and passed.
