Different levels of e-learning interactivity

There are three different levels of e-learning interactivity:

Level 1: This low level of interactivity means users learn passively. For example, this level is used to convey basic facts, impart knowledge, and check retention.

Level 2: Users learn actively, and are more involved with the content and their progression. This level has a range of functions, which include expanding understanding, imparting knowledge, developing skills, reflective practice and the chance to conceptualise training.

Level 3: Learners are active participants in the training experience. This high level of interactivity is used to enhance understanding, impart knowledge and situational understanding and conceptualise and apply training. Learners are also encouraged to practice reflectively and react to different training scenarios.
