A five-year training transformation programme working alongside the UK Ministry of Defence providing digital learning capabilities into Saudi Arabia. Designing and developing blended learning programmes to improve capabilities of the learners and the organisation.

A Home Office Official

This culturally sensitive programme was a requirement from the Home Office, they had identified that a multi-agency training approach for safeguarding professional on Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) would help to improve the support and protection provided to women and girls.

Why are we proud of this?

This innovative course, focuses less on the technology and more on a storytelling pedagogy. Focussing on the story of a young girl called Hope. Balancing the sensitive subject matter between keeping the learner engagement through interaction and not trivialising the important information within the training.
Over 459,000 individuals have completed the training course across the UK, of which 90% said they would do something differently as a result of taking the course.
Due to the reduction of funding this free to access course is now hosted and maintained by Virtual College as part of our CSR Tech For Good programme. Together we’re making a positive impact to young women's lives; we can’t put a price on that.
