Overview - Personal Development in Health, Social Care or Children's and Young People's Settings
It is important that everyone working within health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings is able to evaluate their own competence and personal development aspirations.
As a result, this module has been designed for health and social care workers operating in a wide variety of health and social care settings. It provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to promote personal development.
On completion, learners will have an increased understanding of what is required for competence in their own work role and be able to reflect and evaluate on their own practice. Learners will also learn how to make the best use of learning opportunities and reflective practice to develop their own practice.
On completion of this course learners will be able to:
- Know what is required for competence in your own work role
- Be able to reflect on your own practice
- Be able to evaluate you own practice
- Be able to agree a personal development plan
- Be able to make the best use of learning opportunities and reflective practice to be able to develop your own practice
