Virtual College Awarded Place on the East of England NHS Training & Development Framework

We are proud to confirm that Virtual College has been successfully appointed to the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub Framework Agreement for the Provision of Training & Development Services. The contract was formally signed on 17 April 2023 between the Authority (EoECPH, hosted by West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust) and Virtual College.

This multi-year Framework enables Virtual College to supply training and development services to NHS Trusts and other participating public-sector bodies across the East of England, as listed within the Framework Beneficiaries.

A Strategic Route to NHS Procurement

This Framework provides a compliant and streamlined route for NHS organisations to procure high-quality learning and development support, without needing to run separate procurement exercises for each requirement. Through it, Virtual College is eligible to receive and deliver Call-Off Contracts across a wide range of training categories, dependent on local workforce development needs. The agreement lasts for an initial two-year Term with the option to extend for an additional one year.

As part of the Framework award, Virtual College is committed to delivering services in line with NHS expectations on:

  • Compliance with NHS values and safeguarding
  • Data protection and management reporting
  • Fair working practices and social value

The framework also includes provisions for Key Performance Indicators, formal contract management, and ongoing monitoring of activity-based reporting, supporting transparency and long-term value for the public sector.
