Virtual College announces finalists for the Lean Healthcare Conference and Awards 2014
National online training provider and specialist in Lean Healthcare, Virtual College, has announced the list of finalists for the Lean Healthcare Conference and Awards to be held next month.
The Lean Healthcare Conference and Awards provide a platform for healthcare organisations to gain national recognition for improvement projects. A total of eight categories are included in the awards with three finalists competing in each.
The final part of the judging took place during December with an interview for each shortlisted candidate. Independent and NHS Lean experts made up the judging panel who were searching for inspiring projects that have delivered measurable and sustained improvements within their organisations.
Sue Bradbury, Healthcare Academy Manager commented: "In what has been a turbulent year for the healthcare sector, it is clear that there have also been some great achievements in healthcare innovation. The conference and awards are a platform to share and celebrate these success stories."
The Lean Healthcare Conference and Awards are the annual platform for sharing best practice and will be held in Leeds on Thursday 6th February 2014. The day will consist of lunch, an exhibition displaying best practice, networking, a series of workshop presentations, an evening dinner with guest speaker Professor Nick Rich (founder of the Centre for Lean Enterprise Application and Research) and awards presentations.
