Hopwood Hall College offers an extensive range of online courses tailored for school leavers, adult learners, and employers — including a comprehensive apprenticeship programme.

As part of their strategic aim to deliver a more seamless and engaging learning experience, the College sought to modernise their approach to online learning. They also aimed to expand their community learning offering to reach and support more learners across their local area.

To achieve this, we partnered with Hopwood Hall College to implement an intuitive Learning Management System (LMS) that hosts both Virtual College’s extensive catalogue of digital courses and the College’s own bespoke training resources. This solution now underpins their community learning programmes and staff development initiatives.

The Challenge

Previously, Hopwood Hall College relied on a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that could only be accessed onsite. This significantly restricted flexibility, requiring both staff and students to be physically present at the College to complete their online training.
