UK Virtual College gets a makeover
February 2008 and we welcome our 44th member of the Safeguarding Children e-Academy. The Virtual College launched the UK Virtual College (UKVC) in November 2005 as a vehicle to promote and sell our on-line training courses and modules to smaller organisations and indeed the general public. Since then we have sold 1,000s modules, some awarding a Virtual College certificate of completion and others linked to an accrediting body.
With modules lasting anywhere between one to three hours on subjects as diverse as Fire Safety, Moving and Handling Objects and People, Data Protection, Food Hygiene & Safety, Identifying Engineering Materials, Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect and Lean Healthcare Overview to name but a few, UKVC has a wide appeal for businesses wanting up skill their workforce on practical, day-to-day knowledge and skills.
In order to offer a more comprehensive suite of modules, Virtual College are now working with third party suppliers to offer their courses via UKVC portal, these include Learning 4 Business - who's suite of over 50 modules include the softer skills of Appraisal Management, Presentation Skills and an Introduction to Negotiations
UKVC modules typically range from £20 - £40 + Vat each - from purchase to certification.
Virtual College now have a dedicated "Admin Support" team who are there to offer both pre and post sales support.
