About Visit Scotland

VisitScotland is the national tourism organisation for Scotland. They support the responsible growth of tourism and events while driving the visitor economy to create better places for people to live, work, and visit.

To foster a strong learning culture within their organisation, VisitScotland partnered with Virtual College by Netex. Together, they implemented an intuitive Learning Management System (LMS) and a flexible training subscription to train over 600 staff members.

The Challenge

VisitScotland previously relied on an HR software system primarily designed for payroll administration to train their staff. However, this software was neither intuitive nor user-friendly, failing to provide the engaging learning experience their employees needed.
