Jessica in testing 10k trial to support British Heart Foundation

Ilkley-based Virtual College has sponsored Jessica Crow on a gruelling run to raise funds for British Heart Foundation.

Jessica took on the 10k challenge at Yorkshire’s historic Harewood House estate on Sunday 26th February over tough terrain, running off-road along muddy tracks and forest trails to finish in just an hour.

Jessica who works as a business development manager at Ilkley online learning company, Virtual College, said: ”Being sponsored for such a worthy cause really helped motivate me during the event.

“The challenge on the day was quite tough as the course was more like a cross country with lots of uphill and muddy stretches.”

Jessica has already raised £280 in aid of British Heart Foundation which has been boosted by a £150 contribution from her employer, Virtual College.

Jessica added: “A big thank you to Virtual College and all of my other sponsors.

“Now that I have overcome this challenge, I am determined to maintain my running and fitness levels.”
