Jobs created to support major growth at local technology company

Ilkley- based online learning company, Virtual College is creating 25 new jobs to sustain the major business growth it has already generated.

Formed 20 years ago, Virtual College was one of the first pioneers in the e-learning arena.

“In June 2013, we celebrated one million online learners", explained Virtual College CEO, Rod Knox.

“Since then the number has increased to 1.7 million - a huge increase of 70% in just two years!”

In order to support the continued growth projected, a wide variety of new jobs are being created at all levels within the organisation covering technical, sales and administration roles.

HR Manager, Fiona Robinson commented: "We work in a rapidly changing sector working on exciting, cutting edge projects for organisations from the NHS and Home Office to courses for schools and caterers.”
