Speexx wins awards for online training solutions

Online training solutions provider Speexx has been presented with two BOOAOO awards by experts at the Chinese Enterprise e-Learning Forum and Expo (CEEFE).

The panel at the event - which was organised by China Online Edu - consisted of various scholars in the field of Chinese online learning and corporate training sectors.

Speexx received two prizes, the first of which was for Best Courseware and celebrated the firm's capabilities in combining technology, coaches, content and its students to create effective language teaching.

Secondly, the company's global customer GEA Processing Engineering has received the title of Best Application of Blended Learning.

Headquartered in Germany, Speexx has branches in Italy, China, Brazil and the UK and was given the latter award for the digital training it has provided for the global workforce.

One of the firm's products, the Speexx Phone programme, combines online learning with business coaching support delivered by native-speaking trainers who organise one-to-one intensive phone communication sessions on the go.

Every year, the CEEFE identifies the best case studies submitted by enterprises who use the latest technology as part of their organisation's development.

Armin Hopp, founder and president of Speexx, said the business is delighted to receive such prestigious recognition for its easy-to-use platform, which he claimed is focused on improving students' communication skills.

He added: "With increased cross-border activities, the need for common business language skills is crucial to business growth."

According to the expert, multilingual communication is increasingly dominating corporate activities and not just in sales and marketing divisions.

These awards further enhance Speexx's reputation in China, after it was presented with the 2012 Golden Engine Award for Strategically and Sustainably Driving China's Education Industry in May this year.
