Virtual College has triple trophy triumph at Brandon Hall Technology Awards

Virtual College has been successful in three different categories at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards.

These awards recognise organisations from around the globe that have successfully deployed programmes, strategies, processes, systems and tools that have achieved measurable results.

Now entering its 23rd year, the programme was one of the first of its kind in the learning industry, and is often called the ‘Academy Awards’ by learning, talent and business executives.

Brandon Hall Group provides insights around key performance areas, including learning and development, talent management, leadership development, talent acquisition and workforce management.

Entries for the the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards 2017 were evaluated by an international panel of independent industry experts, Brandon Hall Group senior analysts and its executive leadership team.

The judging was based on the following criteria: design of the solution; functionality; usability; innovation; and overall measurable benefits.

Virtual College was successful in three different categories:

  • Best Advance in Content Management Technology(CMT) Enable LMS by Virtual College – Silver
  • Best Advance in Learning Management Technology(LMT) Enable LMS by Virtual College – Bronze
  • Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses Enable LMS by Virtual College – Bronze

The judges said to Virtual College: ”Congratulations again on your winning entry. You should be very proud of receiving your award, especially based on the rigorous judging process.”

The Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Technology Awards 2017 rounded off a highly successful year of independent recognition for Virtual College.

Now approaching 3 million learners, Virtual College collected two trophies at the global Learning Technologies Awards 2017: Gold award for ‘Excellence in the design of learning content in the public and non-profit sector’ and Silver award in the ‘Learning technologies company of the year – UK’ category.

Virtual College has been awarded gold for Best Training Partnership at the TJ Awards 2017 for their work on FGM awareness training with the Home Office.

Virtual College has also been independently judged in the highly competitive ‘Learning Provider of the Year’ category at the Learning and Performance Institute’s 2017 Learning Awards and presented with the prestigious Silver Award.
