Virtual College shortlisted in two categories for The Learning Awards 2018

Virtual College, a global e-learning consultancy and LMS specialist, has been shortlisted in two categories in the prestigious Learning Awards 2018, hosted by the Learning and Performance Institute.

The annual Learning Awards recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in Learning and Development with entries received from a huge range of sectors from around the globe.

Virtual College has been successfully shortlisted in two awards categories:

Rising Star Award

Virtual College’s Head of Learning Technology Consultancy, Hayley Khan, has been shortlisted in the ‘Rising Star’ award category.

This is presented to ‘an individual (employed or freelance) working inside a learning organisation or for an external provider, who has shown exceptional promise and made an impact beyond their less than 5 years in the Learning and Development industry.’

Hayley works directly with some of Virtual College’s biggest clients, conducting workshops and scoping sessions to understand their requirements and communicate them to the team of instructional designers.

Learning Professional of the Year

This is presented to ‘an individual (employed or freelance) who has shown exceptional skills in learning and development.’

Virtual College’s Instructional Design Manager, John Hinchliffe, has been shortlisted in this award category.

Regularly challenged to find solutions for diverse and complex problems, John has been instrumental in many of Virtual College’s most innovative projects.

Hannah Brindle, Manging Director of Virtual College, commented:”We are really proud of all of our staff at Virtual College.

“Hayley and John are typical examples of the talented and committed individuals who make up our team and to be judged as finalists in a highly competitive field is a tremendous achievement. We wish them the best of luck in the finals.”

The shortlisted entrants now go forward to present to the judging panel in London in November.

Firmly established as the benchmark for excellence throughout the learning industry, the 2018 awards will be presented at The Dorchester, Park Lane, London on 1st February 2018.
