Virtual College followed up their 2016 success by collecting two trophies at the global Learning Technologies Awards 2017.
Widely recognised as Europe’s largest L&D event, the awards saw over 800 global industry leaders gather in London on the 29th November 2017 to celebrate the best in learning technologies both in the UK and worldwide.
The winners were decided after several days of online and face to face presentations to the judging panel.
Virtual College won awards in two different categories:
Gold – Excellence in the design of learning content in the public and non-profit sector
Virtual College was awarded gold for their project with the Home Office which has helped to raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation.
The judges felt that: “A huge amount of thought and planning had gone into the design of this content to make it engaging and relevant for the audience and to address the topic sensitively for the audience.
“The engagement and reaction of learners was particularly positive and the project was well managed to involve a wide range of stakeholders.”
