Level 2 Food Hygiene is the most popular food hygiene qualification, covering the essential knowledge needed for anyone who handles food. It’s a popular choice for employers thanks to its affordability and short completion time, with most learners finishing in just two to three hours.
However, if your role requires you to handle prepackaged food or working alongside food without directly handling it, then a Level 1 Food Hygiene course would be sufficient.
