When working alongside vulnerable people and dealing with a safeguarding incident, it’s essential to follow the necessary procedure when dealing with a safeguarding incident. From victim confidentiality to appropriate reporting of neglect and abuse concerns, a safeguarding Level 1 course will help you understand your responsibilities when caring for vulnerable individuals. Not only will you be able to safeguard those you are directly responsible for, but you’ll also be able to care for anyone else you come into contact with while carrying out your work duties.
By the end of our Level 1 Safeguarding training course, you will gain a clearer understanding of how to safeguard children, young people, and adults at risk effectively within your responsibilities. Our course provides an introduction to the concepts of safeguarding and the basics of looking after vulnerable people, covering all the fundamental processes you need to follow to resolve your first safeguarding case.
