Safeguarding Course Updated Round-up

Safeguarding guidance doesn't stand still, and neither does our course library. Following the introduction of Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2026 and the updated Working Together to Safeguard Children (WTSC) 2026, which came into force on 1 September 2026, we've reviewed and updated our safeguarding courses to make sure your training reflects the current legal and best-practice landscape.

Here's a round-up of what's changed and where to find it.

Safeguarding in Education

Our Safeguarding in Education course, aimed at teachers, teaching assistants, office staff and anyone working in a school or college setting, has been updated to include the KCSIE 2026 and WTSC 2026 changes — including revised expectations on information sharing, safer recruitment, Family Help referral pathways, and the four categories of abuse.

Level 3 Safeguarding Children

Level 3 Safeguarding Children training — our most in-depth course for anyone in a management or designated child protection role — has been updated to reflect the same legislative changes, along with updated content on collecting and acting on safeguarding information at both a local and national level.

Level 3 Safeguarding Refresher

Already completed Level 3 in the past? Our Level 3 refresher course has also been updated, so managers, supervisors and DSLs can bring their knowledge up to date without repeating content they've already covered.

Level 2 Safeguarding Everyone

Our Level 2 safeguarding training covers the core knowledge needed by anyone with regular contact with children or vulnerable adults, and has been reviewed against the latest legislation and guidance to keep it current for the new academic year.
