Looking to find a digital sector apprentice?
Virtual College is committed to supporting the digital marketing profession in attracting the best, brightest and most diverse talent for the future, as well as developing those already in the sector.
Qualifications that embrace digital transformation
The aim of our apprenticeship programmes are to provide the skills and knowledge required within the digital sector, helping to decrease the skills gaps within the sector. We deliver tailored apprenticeship programmes in Digital Marketing, IT Technical Sales and Cyber Security.
Help someone on the path to an exciting career
Virtual College Apprenticeships are a formal education programme in which the apprentice will learn in part through online delivery of content and instruction. Face-to-face classroom methods are combined with Online Live, our virtual learning environment. Customisation of instruction and assessment is a major benefit of this approach, ensuring apprentices receive ongoing support and access to the course resources and learning materials.
Bring digital benefits to your business
Apprenticeships are a key component of the digital marketing professions drive to attract new talent, providing an accessible entry point and attracting those who might not have considered a career in digital marketing, IT technical sales or cyber security in the past. They also set individuals on the professional qualifications pathway – providing a sound base for a successful career. They are also vital in allowing employers like you to train new or existing staff in an affordable way.
How do I get funding to hire an apprentice?
If you are a levy paying employer you can utilise your levy pot to pay for apprenticeship training. If you are a non-levy paying employer you can access up to 90% of government funding to help pay for apprenticeship training. Additional incentives are available when taking on a 16-18 year old.
