Our intermediate course has been developed in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the UK government agency responsible for the regulations of workplace health, safety and welfare.
This online course covers a range of possible causes for slips, trips and falls in the workplace, how you can design and plan to avoid them, and provides details of the right procedures to help you deal with them.
Our Online Slips and Trips: Intermediate course has been created in collaboration with the HSE and provides in-depth and knowledge into how to prevent slips and trips in the workplace.
It provides more depth than our introductory course, and has been personalised for different workplaces and environments and designed for anyone in a managerial or supervisor role, middle managers or team leaders.
The course has been designed to ensure an easy, engaging learner journey for you. It includes a wide variety of resources and is broken down into 11-bite sized modules that can be accessed in any order, allowing you to tailor the learning to your needs.
We have worked with the Health and Safety Executive in the development of this course who have provided both knowledge content and reviewed the material we have produced.
The HSE are the UK government agency responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare, and for research into occupational risks in the UK.
Our Slips and Trips: Intermediate course is suitable for all workplace environments for a wide range of managerial staff. Though if you are a Health and Safety Manager, and are responsible for the overall health and safety compliance of your company, you will be more suited to our Slips and Trips: Advanced course.
Workplaces where slips, trips and falls may occur include offices, warehouses, manufacturing plants/units, food preparation areas, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, residential homes, construction sites, retail units, healthcare locations and much, much more.
Our online health and safety course will take approximately 4-5 hours to complete. The length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You can proceed as quickly or slowly as you like, and there is no limit on how long you can take to do the course and your progress will be automatically saved so you can log in and out as you please.
