This 18th Edition update course aligns with the requirements of BS 7671:2018‘ Requirements for Electrical Installations - IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition’ including the changes brought about by the release of Amendment 2:2022.

This 17th to 18th Edition course will provide an overview of the main changes introduced since BS 7671:2008 amendment 3:2015 and includes the latest amendments to BS 7671:2018, including the updated requirements relating to Amendment 1:2020 and Amendment 2:2022.
This course is designed to assist in better navigation of BS 7671 and to help prepare delegates for success with the 18th Edition City & Guilds 2382 examination. This examination is the same as for those attending a full training course, therefore a thorough understanding of BS 7671 is required.

The scope of BS 7671:2018 covers permanent and temporary installations in residential, commercial, public and industrial premises. It also includes requirements relating to special locations as well as considerations for energy efficiency.

The 2-hour examination comprises a single mandatory unit: ‘Understand the requirements of electrical installations BS 7671 (2018)’ and contains 60 multiple-choice questions.
