Skills for Health Core Skills Training Framework:

The Core Skills Training Framework sets out minimum learning outcomes, frequency of refresher training and is linked to relevant legislation or expert guidance.

It can be used by any healthcare employer in the UK including NHS, independent and voluntary providers.

We have mapped our eLearning courses to the learning objectives within the Core Skills Training Framework, to give organisations the confidence that they can use the eLearning as a foundation for their wider training programmes.

Skills for Care Core and Mandatory Training Framework:

The Core and Mandatory Training framework was produced by skills for care in partnership with a panel of social care employers, learning providers and representative organisations and was updated in line with CQC’s revised inspection framework.

It sets out a series of minimum learning objectives and a suggested refresher frequency, to support care organisations to provide their staff with a foundation of learning and refresher opportunities.

Level 2 health & Safety within the catering world. With using virtual college

With using virtual college, it was quick and easy to pay and access my chosen course. I had a choice of using different methods on what type of device that I could use which was great for me. The course was very informative and I learnt a lot and the assessment at the end was good & you have a certificate that you can download straight away. Very highly recommend.

Easy to access the Training

The process of purchasing the training (in this case combined offer of Allergy Awareness and Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene) was easy as was the ability to access and complete the training. The online training system works well. The Food Allergy course was comprehensive and well structured my only criticism is that the Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene is not as well structured with the same material repeated may times in different places so the course could be made much shorter.
