Description

This Understanding HACCP Course includes a RoSPA Assured instant digital certificate. It has been created for food handlers to ensure they understand what a critical control point is and are confident using the HACCP seven principles system to identify and respond to hazards.

Anyone who works in catering or hospitality needs to be aware of the latest food hygiene standards and HACCP regulations. Knowing how to clean and disinfect equipment, safely store and prepare food, and control common pests will allow you to handle food safely and ensure that you’re complying with all of the relevant health and safety standards.

What is HACCP?

HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points and is all about ensuring that food safety workers can prevent and control food-borne illnesses, and stop consumers from being exposed to hazardous contamination from their premises.

Why take this HACCP course?

Using the HACCP system became a legal requirement in food safety management from January 1st 2006. It helps food businesses to safeguard their customers from illness or injury due to the consumption of unsafe food.

This course has been created for food handlers to ensure they understand what a critical control point is and are confident using the HACCP seven principles system to identify and respond to hazards. After completing this HACCP training course, learners will understand:

This course is RoSPA Assured.

Certification

As well as your Virtual College certificate, you will receive a RoSPA Assured certificate upon completing this course.

Course duration

The course should take two to three hours to complete, but this depends entirely on how quickly you study. It doesn't matter how slow or fast you take things - your progress will still be recorded throughout.

Level 2 health & Safety within the catering world. With using virtual college

With using virtual college, it was quick and easy to pay and access my chosen course. I had a choice of using different methods on what type of device that I could use which was great for me. Easy to access the Training

The process of purchasing the training (in this case combined offer of Allergy Awareness and Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene) was easy as was the ability to access and complete the training. The online training system works well. The Food Allergy course was comprehensive and well structured my only criticism is that the Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene is not as well structured with the same material repeated may times in different places so the course could be made much shorter.
