This training pack has been created to provide people at any level, in any sector, with guidance that will help them to work safely at work.
One of the most important areas that staff members in any organisation need to be trained up on is health and safety. Workplace health and safety helps to minimise the risk of injuries and accidents from occurring, whilst also protecting your business by embracing safer working standards.
According to the Health and Safety Executive, in 2015/16 30.4 million working days were lost due to self-reported work-related illness or injury. By giving employees good Health and Safety training, you reduce the risk of workplace accidents and adhere to your legal obligation of preventing accidents in the workplace.
This workplace health and safety training pack is designed to teach both employees and employers why health and safety in the workplace is so important in relation to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
The courses that make up this health and safety training in the workplace pack are CPD certified and are ideal as part of an induction for new employees or for those needing to refresh their knowledge. No previous qualifications or experience is necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
There are so many benefits to completing this training. Upon successfully completing the course, you will be awarded a certificate authenticated by IOSH to show you now have an awareness of the basics of health and safety. This certificate is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), which is a necessary requirement when applying for a CSCS card required to work on a UK construction site.
This certificate also carries the same accreditation as the IOSH Passport to Safety and acts as evidence that you have achieved the necessary training required to meet the health and safety standards set by IOSH.
