Course description

The course aims to prevent these incidents from occurring by providing learners with knowledge and advice to reduce harms associated with insulin use in the healthcare setting and promote safe insulin use.

Between August 2003 and August 2009, the NPSA received 3,881 wrong dose incidents involving insulin and included one death and one incident of severe harm.
