Description
The module reviews an individual’s case study, identifying how access to services and facilities has helped him in his daily life and has a positive impact on his wellbeing.
What are these services and facilities and who provides them? Legislation can affect the provision of services and facilities and the module reviews Wellbeing and the Care Act 2014.
What are the many barriers for individuals accessing services and facilities? These barriers, such as physical, financial, geographical, communication, availability, attitudinal, are described in detail in the course.
Finally, the course describes ways to access different services and facilities and how to better support individuals to do so.
