Safeguarding guidance

For teachers, social workers and others working in childcare, complying with the government’s latest advice on safeguarding guidance for schools is essential.

For schools and colleges

The latest guidelines have come from the Department of Education in their document ‘Keeping children safe in education’. The latest update of this statutory guidance has now been released by the government and will be enforced as of September 5th 2016.

To save you time we have produced and updated an overview document which summaries all the important information you need to know including the key changes that have been made.

This overview document discusses:

  • Safeguarding information for staff
  • The management of safeguarding
  • Safer recruitment
  • Allegations of abuse made against teachers and other staff
